Luginbuel Funeral Home Vinita, Ok......918 -256-5555 Ronnie B. Summers 72 year old Afton resident passed away December 03, 2016 at Craig General Hospital in Vinita , Ok. He was born on August 21, 1944 the son of Bill Summers and Corrine (Oldaker) Summers. He was raised in the Afton, Vinita area. In 1988 he married Patsy Mathia. Ronnie worked and retired from Eastern State Hospital. He enjoyed life and loved spending time with his grandchildren. After Ronnie retired he enjoyed ranching and trail riding with his mules. He was preceded by his father and mother, two brothers Ralph and Bill Summers. Survivors included his wife Patsy (Mathia) Summers of the home.Two daughters Connie Yates and husband James of Cleora, Ok., Terry Byrn also of Cleora, Ok. Four grandchildren Lloyd and wife Candy Wood, Clarina Wood, Colleen and husband Cody Gambriel and Allison Byrn. Four great-grandchildren Halie, William, Katelyn Wood and Jensen Gambriel. Sister June Hetzel of Ketchum, Ok. and brother Archie Summers of Delaware, Ok. One cousin Linda and husband Wayne Mildren of Vinita, Ok. He had numerous niecies nephews and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be Skeeter Weaver, Cody Gambriel, Joe Gambriel, Davey Mayberry, Gary Brown and Michael Mathia. Honorary pallbearers are Charles Mathia, Charlie Nixon, William Wood and Lloyd Wood. The family request in lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society or the Oklahoma Heart Institute. Family visitation will be Wednesday, December 07, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be Thursday, December 8, 2016, at 1:00 pm at Luginbuels' with Pastor John Pinkerton officiating. Interment with military rites will be held at McLaughlin Cemetery.
