Ruby Mae Bogle went to be with the Lord, Tuesday August 8, 2006 at the age of 90 years, 8 months and 7 days. Ruby was born December 1, 1915 near Big Cabin to Chloe (Maxwell) and Alonzo Comer. She married Paul Eugene "Gene" Bogle on September 12, 1936 in Adair; he preceded her in death on September 25, 2001. Ruby was also preceded in death by her parents and five brothers. The surviving family includes: two sons, Roy Gene Bogel and wife Kathy of Langley, Jerry Ray Bogle and wife Doris of Strang; one sister, Leota Faye Elliott of Bartlesville, a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Ruby was a member of the Otterbein Methodist Church for many years. She was an active member of the choir and was always ready to do any duties that needed to be done. She enjoyed, gardening, quilting, her flowers, helping others and most of all ceramics. Ruby was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, sister, aunt and a friend to everyone. Serving as casket bearers will be: David Harrison, Mike Martin, Stan Witt, Phil Carroll, Wayne Midgett and Carl Scott. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the dedicated nursing staff at Rosewood Terrace. The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 12, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. at the Otterbein Methodist Church near Langley, Pastors Jim Bradford and Mark Decker will officiate. Interment will follow at the Ketchum Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home of Langley. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com
