Sally Maples

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261. Sally A. Maples went to be with her Lord and Savior to celebrate her 94th birthday on January 23, 2017. Sally was born on January 24, 1923 in Fairland, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Tom and Minnie (Cox) Jones. She was united in marriage to Buck Maples in Fairland, Oklahoma who proceeded her in death. Sally is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Buck Maples, her two brothers Wayne Jones and J.R. Jones, her sister Loraine Hoover, her daughter Janice Daftari-Johnson, her grandsons Paul Maples, Randy Maples and Dane Stanberry. She is survived by her two sons; Tom Maples (Joyce), and Leonard Maples (Emma Owens), all of Zena, Oklahoma, and sister in-law Sue Jones of Siloam Springs, AR. Sally was blessed with ten grandchildren; Curtis Daftari, Brad Daftari, Carol Stanberry (Dana), Tammy Carnell (Greg), Sally Maples (Billy), Brent Maples (Becky), Mickie Maples (Chris), Lora Maples (Kenny) and Angie Aucoin (Kenny); and nineteen great grandchildren; Hayden Daftari, Melissa Prine, Jason Carnell, Amanda Carnell, Nikki Powell, Trin Barrows, Madison Threet, Buck Maples, Lacey Crawford, Cheynne Dick, Taylor Queener, Dakota Queener, Justin Martineau, Lenzie Maples, Jaezie Maples Johnathon Kuharick and Libby Kuharick, and numerous great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 5-7PM, and services scheduled for 1:00 pm, Friday, January 27, 2017 both at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma. Sally will be laid to rest beside her husband in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
