Sarah Sue (Maggard) Lindersmith left this world to be with our Lord on August 12, 2020 at the Nowata Nursing Center in Nowata, OK. She was born August 12, 1942, the daughter of Silas Nathaniel and Glessa Lee (Nelson) Maggard in Fremont, Nebraska. She attended Nowata High School. When Sarah was sixteen, she married the love of her life Billy Joe Lindersmith Sr. on Oct 11, 1958 in Miami, Oklahoma.

Their life together took them to many places. Sue and Bill finally established their home in Nowata, Oklahoma in 1984 where they cherished 62 years together. Sarah was a homemaker for her family and worked various jobs including retail sales and office work. She attended Hillside Christian Church. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, puzzles, cooking especially baking. But her first love was being a Mother and wife. Sue loved spending time with her family she also helped raise her grandchildren. She loved her family unconditionally and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Silas and Glessa Maggard and six siblings; Doyle Maggard, Silas Nathaniel Maggard also known as “SN”, Zella Maggard, Robert Maggard, June Maggard.

Sarah is survived by her husband Billy Lindersmith Sr., one brother Billy Maggard of Nowata, OK, three children; Billy Lindersmith Jr. of Nowata, Julie Evans of Nowata, Jimmie Lindersmith and wife Lynn of Blue Springs, Missouri; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, various nieces and nephews.
