Sharon Kuningas

Sharon Dawn Kuningas, passed away at the Integris Grove General Hospital in Grove, OK on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the age of 68. Sharon was born June 11, 1945 in St George, Utah, the daughter of Harold J. Hafen and Colleen Atkin. Sharon graduated from high school on May 29, 1963 in Henderson, NV. She married Robert Charles Kuningas, Sr. on June 5, 1965 in Henderson, NV. They resided in Henderson for several years until they moved to the Wilmington, VT area. While in Vermont, Sharon worked a few years at a machine shop and then many years as a waitress in various restaurants in the area. She and the family moved to Florida and Germany until settling in Northeast Oklahoma in her later years. She enjoyed cross-stitching, sewing, visiting with people and had a passion for reading. She loved to be around her family and she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter Traci Kuningas and one great grandson Camden Fisher. She is survived by her son Bob Kuningas and his wife Joannie of Jay, OK; mother Colleen Bartlett of Dolores, CO; three brothers: Herald Haffen of Dolores, CO, Wayne Walkins of California, and John Bartlett of Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren: Cyndall Kuningas of Grove, Ok., Cinton Kuningas of Claremore, Ok., Cody Kuningas, Cassidy Kuningas, Christy Kuningas, Colleen Kuningas, Cheyenne Kuningas of Catoosa, Ok., and two step grandchildren: Sarah Morrow and Tealey Morrow both of Coweta, Ok,; five great grandchildren: Colten Morrow, Cambree Fisher, Clayton "Bear" Fisher, and Caden "Grasshopper" Fisher, Oden Morrow of Coweta, Ok.; and a host of other relatives and friends. There will be a private family service held at a later date. The cremation services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK.
