Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home - Langley - 918-782-4400...... Sherrel Ann Stipes, 60 year old Rose, OK resident, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017. Sherrel was born in Tulsa on August 27, 1956 to Cliff and Shirley (Byington) Jones. On May 19, 2014 she was united in marriage to Gene Stipes. Sherrel was a loving person. She loved to take care of people, loved to cook for people, loved her pets, and most of all loved her family. She greatly enjoyed the holidays, especially Christmas. She was also a good domino and poker player. She worked as a pet groomer and attended both Disney and Chouteau Assembly of God Churches. Survivors include her husband Gene Stipes of the home, mother Shirley Jones of Langley, sons: Shawn Clark of Claremore and Melissa Clark of Ketchum, Brian Clark and wife Jewel of Pryor, J. R. Bell of Spavinaw, step children: Jess Stipes and wife Christina of Peggs, Jenny Crawford and husband David of Wickliff, and Jaime Brixey of Rose, 16 grandchildren: Lakin Clark, Nolan Clark, Georgia Clark, Jordan Clark, Heaven Clark, Sherrel Ann Clark, Garrett Hildreth, Allie Hildreth, Katie Hildreth, Colt Crawford, Rosie Crawford, Cheyenne Brixey, Briar Brixey, Jess Michael Stipes, and Lucas Stipes, 4 great grandchildren, one brother Tate Jones and Michelle Bass of Disney, and one sister Shirley Roderick and husband Rick of Oklahoma City. She is preceded in death by her father Cliff Jones. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m., Friday, April 7, 2017 at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home in Langley. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Disney Assembly of God Church with Pastor Daryl Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Hogan Cemetery in Locust Grove.
