Sheryl Lynn Burruss age 46 of Nowata, Oklahoma passed away on June 4, 2019 in Nowata County. Sheryl was born on July 21, 1972 to Curtis Ray and Stephanie K. (Frye) Burruss in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Sheryl was one of three children, she had two brothers; Rustin and Justin. She was raised in Bartlesville where she attended school and later moved to Nowata, Oklahoma in the early 1990’s. Sheryl was a member of Hillside Christian Church. Her hobbies included cooking, crafts and working with the children at her church. One thing that was an big passion of hers and she loved was taking care of children where she was able to make a career out of it at Kid Kountry Daycare where she made life long friends. Many things brought joy to Sheryl’s life including the love for cats and time with family and friends. Sheryl brought delight and joy into each soul young or old that she came into contact with, she will be loved and missed be all that knew her.
Sheryl is survived by her Parents, Stephanie Underhill and husband Robert of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Curtis Burruss of Peru, Kansas; Two brothers, Rustin Burruss of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Justin Underhill of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two sons Kristopher Ray Stanley of Nowata, Oklahoma and Rick Pierce of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Two grandchildren, Zane Stanley and Zanlen Stanley along with two nieces and three nephews.
