Thelma Allison

Thelma Marie Allison, 94 year old lifetime Craig County resident, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015 at her home in Vinita. She was born on January 30, 1921 in Estella, Oklahoma to Fred Edward and Elvina (Cook) Falling. Thelma graduated from White Oak High School and later married Claud T. Allison, who preceded her in death on June 17, 1989. She worked for over 20 years at Eastern State Hospital in Vinita, where she was the Lithograph Operator. Thelma was a member of the First Church of God in Vinita, where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher and was involved in the Church Missionary Society. She also was involved in the Oklahoma Home and Community Education. Thelma enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens Center, working word search puzzles and traveling. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, a daughter Kay Elaine Allison; grandsons, Claud and Shawn Allison; brothers, Louis, Leroy and George Falling; sisters, Betty Spence, Imagene Martin, and Rowena Carpenter. The family includes; her children, Carol Brisco and Wesley Allison of Vinita; brothers, Don Fallling of Helena, Montana, Frank Falling of Glendale, Arizona; grandchildren, Steve Allison and companion Stephanie, Tina White and husband John, Regina Allison-Glenn, Elizabeth Ross and husband Jeff; thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the First Church of God in Vinita, with Pastor Eddie Wrinkle and Pastor O'Dell Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow at the Timpson Chapel Cemetery. Friends may give to the Klagetoh Shelter Mission, P O Box 267, Chambers, Arizona 86502 in memory of Thelma.
