Thelma Cass

Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita, 918-256-5555... Thelma Mae Cass, 89 year old Vinita resident, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Heartsworth Nursing Center in Vinita. She was born on March 28, 1926 in White Oak to Floyd and Viola (Pattison) Head. Thelma worked for the OSU Extension service for 27 years of service before retirement. She enjoyed cooking, watching television, reading books, most of all she loved her kids and grandkids. She was preceded in death by her son Kenny G. Cass on August 9, 2014, a granddaughter Andrea Cupp, great grandson, Zachary McCorkle; siblings Berniece Thompson and Cleo Pattison. The family includes: Daughters, Paulette Brinkerhoff and husband Allen of Muleshoe, Texas, Yuvonne Watt of Vinita, daughter in-law, Becky Cass of Jenks; grandchildren, Mary Anne Boyd and husband Brian of Vinita, Jennifer McCorkle and husband Randy of Jenks, K.C. Cass and wife Traci of Kansas City, MO; five great-grandchildren Alex McCorkle, Addison Cass, Katy Anne Boyd, Allyson Boyd and Cooper Boyd. The graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 10 AM, at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita, with Pastor Skip McClain officiating.
