Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma, 918-253-3222. Thomas "Herman" Bennet, 74 year old resident of Colcord, Oklahoma passed away on March 2, 108 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Herman was born on March 22, 1943 in Deer Lick, Oklahoma to Charles A. Bennett and Gladys Nina Revels. He lived in and around the Colcord area all his life. He married Janice Bradley in 1969. They were married 49 years. He loved to deer and coon hunt, fish and work on lawn mowers. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Herman was survived by his wife Janice Bennett of Colcord, Oklahoma, three sons: Thomas "Tommy" Bennett, Jr of West Siloam Springs, AR, Butch Bennett of Jenks, OK, Michael Bennett unknown, four daughters: Julie Pilgrim of Tulsa, OK, Tammy Crites of Rogers, AR, Ginger Snyder of Kansas, OK and Candi Helm of Kansas, OK, one brother Larry Bennett of Grove, OK, two sisters: Emma Dean Rex of Grove, OK and Brenda Deason of Little Kansas, OK. Herman was blessed with 21 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Charles A. Bennett, his mother Gladys Nina Bond, four brothers: Haskell Bennett, Denzil Bennett, Darrel Bennett, Charles "Sonny" Bennett and Donald Ray Bennett, one sister Nina Lee Potter, one daughter Doris Owens, one grandson Dakota Helms and one great grandson Taylan Taylor. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8pm, Monday, March 05, 2018, Services; 2PM, Tuesday, March 6, 2018 both held at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Jay, Oklahoma.
