Thomas Dawson

Vinita, OK - Thomas Warren "Tommy" Dawson, 74, died Saturday morning, September 22, 2007 at Home of Hope Group Home of Vinita. Tommy was born September 19, 1933 at St. John Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Gerald R. Dawson and Elizabeth (Warren) Dawson. He grew up in Tulsa and became a resident of the Home of Hope over 30 years ago. Tommy enjoyed his job at the Home of Hope Workshop and was a musician and artist. He was a member of the Holy Ghost Catholic Church of Vinita. Tommy is survived by a sister, Betty Jeanne McArthur and her husband, Edward of Dallas, Texas, and his guardian Judy Hess and her family of Chelsea, Oklahoma. Prayer service will be held, 6 p.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Mass will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church with Father Alex Kennedy officiating. Committal rites will be 1:30 p.m., Wednesday at Calvary Cemetery, Tulsa, Oklahoma, under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home, Vinta.
