Tobby Edwards

Tobby Allen Edwards, 70, of Bluejacket, passed away Tuesday at his residence. Born on Dec. 4, 1935 in Bluejacket, OK to Charles and Johnnie (Long) Edwards. Tobby moved back to this area 6 years ago from New York. Tobby was a veteran of the US Army where he was highly decorated as a Green Beret with the 101st Airborne. Member of the American Legion and was a retired telephone lineman. Preceded in death by his parents and 2 Brothers; Donald Lee and Jack Edwards. Survivors include; Children Steve Edwards Julie Holloman Larry Edwards Brothers and sisters; Jr. Edwards Jeff Edwards Anne Emmerson George Edwards Charlene Ownbey Maydene Hansen Jim Edwards Harry Edwards Leon Edwards Lucky Edwards Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006 at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, 2006 at Fairview Cemetery of Vinita, OK. Casket Bearers will be Dickie Woodard, Terry Melton, Sam McDougle, Bunk Dean, Jerry Edwards and Earl Hansen.
