Vera Newkirk

Vera Katherine Newkirk Longtime Vinita resident passed away at her home in Vinita, OK on Monday, June 12, 2006. She was born in Craig County on April 16, 1911 to Ottie Simpson and Gertie Ethel (Brown) Dye. She married Charley Newkirk on October 11, 1952 in Bentonville, Arkansas. She worked in the Laundry Department at the State Hospital. She was a member of the Church of God in Vinita. Services and survivors will be announced by the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita, OK.
