Vicki Lynn Brixey, 70 year old resident of Jay, Oklahoma, passed away on October 21, 2020 in Fayetteville, Arkansas due to complications from a motor vehicle accident.
Vicki was born on February 7, 1950 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was the daughter of Eugene Raymond Higinbotham and Betty June (Meyers) Higinbotham. Vicki was united in marriage to Robert “Red” Brixey. Red and Vickie shared many years together before his passing. Vicki had a soft spot in her heart for animals, she would rescue them all if she could. Vicki loved everyone unconditionally.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son David Brixey, and her brother Steven Higinbotham. She is survived by her two daughters: Michelle Jones and her husband Wes, Kim Davenport and her fiancé Cody Springsguth. Vickie was blessed with seven grandchildren: Chris Jones and his wife Leigh, Destiny Jones, Corey Davenport and his wife Shelbee, Bryce Davenport and his wife Wynter, Kristi Brixey, Brandi Brixey and Tommy Brixey. Vicki cherished her great grandchildren; McKinley, Winslee, Braven, Callan, Collins, Canton also Campbell Grey due in November of 2020. Vickie will also be dearly missed by her brother Brad Higinbotham and his wife Mssy, her “sister” in law Janice Marie and her loving fur baby Rudy.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-7 PM, Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Services are scheduled for 2 PM, Friday, October 30, 2020 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gary Bishop officiating.
