Vida Morrow

Vida Mae (Robertson) Morrow, passed away on October 6, 2019 in Grove, Oklahoma.

Vida was born on July 3, 1926 at home in Topsy, Oklahoma to Della (Robertson) Williams.  She married Jesse P. “Buster” Morrow on May 20, 1944 in Jay, Oklahoma.  Vida loved to cook, can, garden, sew, and making quilts by hand.  She enjoyed going to church, singing, playing Mexican train dominos at better years.  Vida always prayed that all family would know and serve the Lord.  She also prayed for her church family and all over dear friends.  Above all, the most important thing to Vida, is that she loved to serve, worship the Lord and witness for Him.

Vida is preceded in death by her husband Jesse P. “Buster” Morrow, her mother Della (Robertson) Williams, her step-father; Duke “Pop” Williams, two sisters; Ona Lea Lawson and Alice “Honey” Hicks, five brothers; Bill Williams, Vaughn Williams, Lonnie Williams, Johnny Williams and Clarence “Stud” Stewart.

Vida is survived by two children; Larry Joe Morrow and wife Susan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Eva Lorene (Morrow) Schaller and husband Larry of Disney, Oklahoma, one sister Betty Yeager of Langley, Oklahoma.  She was blessed with 13 grandchildren; Rodney Eugene Schaller and wife Crystal of Fairland, Oklahoma, Rhonda Christene (Schaller) Henson and husband Rusty of Spavinaw, Oklahoma, Rick Alan Schaller and wife Angela of Willard, Missouri, Christie Ann Morrow of Austin, Texas, Tina Morrow of Texas, Elizabeth Benham  and husband Dave of Urbana, Maryland, Sarah Carnes and husband Jeramy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Rachel Mobley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and 17 great grandchildren; Angel Violet Schaller, Cheyenne Renee Schaller, Colton Eugene Schaller, Mollee Ryanna Schaller, Christifer Dewayne (Schaller) Cole and wife Ashley, Rachel Marie Schaller, Katlin Page Schaller, Tommy Henson, Colton Black, Cameron Black and wife Amber, Alyssa Hawn, Savannah Elizabeth Carnes, Julienne Adair Carnes, Anson James Gentry, Benjamin Pendleton, and 11 great-great grandchildren.  Vida will be dearly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-7 PM, Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at the Jay Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home.  Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Disney Assembly of God with Pastor Darrel Lee officiating.  Vida will be laid to rest in the Mose Ridge Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma.
