Wayne Bradley

Wayne Marvin Bradley passed away at the Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO, on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the age of 80. Wayne was born May 19, 1932 in Seneca, MO, the son of the late Earnest Bradley and Florene Marie (Beck) Bradley. Wayne grew up in Commerce, OK and later he moved to Pasadena, CA until moving back to Oklahoma in 1967. He married Joyce Hattery on July 10, 1961 in Miami, OK. Wayne worked at the Baxters Springs docks for Yellow Freight. He retired in 1994. Wayne was a member of the Faith Assembly Church in Wyandotte, OK. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and just being outdoors. Wayne loved to be with the love of his life, Joyce, all his children and especially all of his grandkids. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Patricia Gayle Bradley; son Milton Eugene Newberry, Jr.; daughter Brenda Wayne Bradley Burris; and grandparents I.L. and Flora Hutchins. He is survived by his wife Joyce Bradley of the home; six children: Cheryl Benton of Monkey Island, Dona Beehler and her husband Gary of Fairland, Sandra Stephenson and her husband Gary of Monkey Island, Joyla Stone and her husband Jeff of Grove, Gary Wayne Bradley and his wife Vicky of Jay, and William Bradley of Morrison, OK; one brother Dean Bradley and his wife Bettye of Miami; 24 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. The funeral service will be held at the Cornerstone Church on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 10AM with Pastor Johnny Merriman, minister of the Faith Assembly Church, presiding. The burial will follow at the Fairland Cemetery in Fairland, OK. The family will greet friends from 6PM to 8PM at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, OK on Friday, April 26, 2013. Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK. Friends and family may leave notes of encouragement by viewing Wayne's Book of Memories at www.honoringmemories.com. Casket bearers will be Gary Bradley, William Bradley, Tommy Volden, Larry Benton, Shane Beehler, Kenny McKinzie, Devern Bradley, and Billy Burris. Honorary casket bearers will be Jeremy Macy, Dustin Macy, J.R. Stone, Bradley Benton, and Jason Beehler.
