William Gordineer

William Gordineer, a 78 year old Zena resident passed away at his home on November 3, 2008. He was born June 4, 1930 in Afton, Oklahoma to John Henry and Calvie (Chandler) Gordineer. He worked for many years as a Handyman and Farmer in the area. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Gordineer was preceded in death by his parents John and Calvie Gordineer, his wife Ruth and daughter Sally Lou Cooper. Survivors include his sons Gene Gordineer of Wichita, William "Bub" Gordineer Jr. of Florida and Robbie Gordineer of Ketchum, daughters Theresa Ann Dement of Pryor, Sandra Hall of Zena, Mary Sarrett of New Mexico, Terry Benton of Zena and brothers Ray Gordineer of California and Marian Lloyd "Buzz" Gordineer of Afton and one sister Mary Lou Landers of Nevada. There are eighteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Family and Friends will be gathering for a graveside service at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at the Sixkiller Cemetery in Afton.
