Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma, 918-253-3222. Willie Eugene Creekkiller, 74 year old resident of Jay, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018. Willie was born on January 11, 1944 in Spavinaw, Oklahoma. He was the son of Dave and Ina (Hicks) Creekkiller. Willie proudly served in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Louise Sharp. Willie worked as a welder for the Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Company which brought natural gas from the panhandle region of Oklahoma through the Midwest to supply Indiana and Ohio. Willie spent several years raising his family in Westline Missouri. Willie had his own unique laugh, that would make everyone smile, he was a great story teller; he made beautiful walking sticks and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Willie enjoyed hunting and fishing but his favorite hobby was spending time with his grandchildren. Willie was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Jeff Creekkiller, Leon Creekkiller, Kenny Creekkiller, his sister: Betty Dixon, his father in-law; Stanley Sharp and a niece; Andrea Jackson. He will be dearly missed by his wife Louise Creekkiller of the home, his son Wayland Creekkiller and daughter Eugenia Walters both of Garden City, Missouri, two brothers; Tommy Creekkiller of Langley, Oklahoma and Jerry Creekkiller of Roland, Oklahoma, his three sisters: Louella Allen and husband Bill of Park Hill, Oklahoma, Velda Sue Breeding and husband Jim of Trussville, Alabama and Mary Smith and her husband Steve of Vinita, Oklahoma. Willie was blessed with two grandchildren; Cody Walters, Shannon Boulware, Elija and Meileda Boulware, Marissa Walters and fiancée Zachary Hodson and one great granddaughter; Lyla Nash. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 pm, Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Jay, Oklahoma. Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Friday, April 6, 2018 at Brush Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Pritchett officiating. Willie will be laid to rest in the Jumper Cemetery. Honoring Willie's life serving as casket bearers will be: Heath Barnwell, Cody Walters Scott Walters, Bill Miner, Landon Miner, William Budder and Harvey Creekkiller. Honorary Bearers will be Wayland Creekkiller, Tommy Creekkiller, and Jerry Creekkiller. Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma.
