Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita, 918-256-5555. -- Wilma Nell Theimer, 95 year old long time Muskogee resident, passed away on Sunday July 10, 2016 at the Country Gardens Assisted Living Center. She was born on October 1, 1920 in Lincoln, Arkansas to Bert and Eula (Norwood) West. Wilma Nell was a graduate of Muskogee Central High School and Northeastern State College in Tahlequah, she valued her education a great deal. She married Milton V. Theimer on December 8, 1945 in Muskogee at the First Lutheran Church. Wilma was a long time member of the First Lutheran Church in Muskogee and also had been employed by the church. She also had worked for the First National Bank of Muskogee and the Oklahoma State office of Public Welfare. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Milton, and a sister Virginia Dardis. The family includes: her two sons, Richard M. Theimer and wife, Cindy of Princeton, Texas, Jack W. Theimer of Santa Barbara, California; grandchildren, Beau L. Theimer and wife Jessica of Midland, Texas, Hillary K. Theimer of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Jeffrey W. Theimer and wife Stephanie of Santa Barbara, California; a sister Ruth Ann DeCamp of Poteau; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews whom she loved and cherished; a special caregiver, Angela ‘Deedle" Harris. The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:30 AM Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the First Lutheran Church in Muskogee. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 10:30 AM, at the First Lutheran Church in Muskogee, with Pastor Wayne Schuett officiating. Interment will follow at the Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee. Memorials may be made to the: Camp Lutheroma, General Fund, P. O. Box 1672, Tahlequah, OK 74465.
